This store is a bit more urban denim-oriented, which doesn’t make it any less appealing. As it never harms to find the right pair of jeans out of 400. And because we all need a bit of Rock ’n’ Roll and therefore some April 77 and Hells Bells. Which doesn’t make any of their other labels like Ann Hagen, Won Hundred, Surface 2 Air, Acne Jeans any less interesting.

And someone told us that they are always up for drinking & shopping. Which makes it all so much easier!

In the heart of Berlin-Mitte, the store, established in 2005, is one of the leading places for all these Japanese-in-Paris-showing designers that we love and adore so much. And so does Karl. So if you are into some design sophistication rather than label branding you definitely need to check it out.

Potipoti sounds a bit weird, but don’t be turned off by its name. Silvia Salvador and Nando Cornejo known in the industry for their fashion graphic designs and visual arts, just opened up this store beginning of July. Except from their own label Potipoti, which is a refreshing and graphically quite interesting collection for Men and Women, they are also carrying the label Hit-In-TV for Moms and their kids.

Sometimes strange is good, and Potipoti is more than just good.

Almost right across our office is one of another one-of-a-kind Berlin concept-store. In Münzstrasse 21, court 1 and court 2 aka AM1 and AM2, you can not only find some of the best fashion items from designer Kostas Murkudis (brother of owner Andreas Murkudis), but also some Maison Martin Margiela, Sophia Kokosalaki, Jens Laugesen and A.F. Vandevorst as well as some careful selected design furniture pieces by Leise & E15.

A new high fashion concept store for men in Berlin-Mitte: GEOMETRY, created by the nouveau Berliners Raphael Meyer (Paris) and Carmen Santos (New York). Their credo: “There is a life beyond fast-fashion and logo-mania.“ Geometry’s concept—a straight-forward approach to combining mundane fashion with luxury articles, comparable to a mathematical axis system: the exclusive collections by Gaspard Yurkievich, Irié Wash, Y3 or Won hundred are to be found on the horizontal axis; matching highlights such as underwear by John Galliano and interior design accessories by Gijs Bakker and Arik Levy on the vertical axis.

The interior decoration was provided by renowned Berlin interior design studio Plajer & Franz. Here, too, the ruling principle was: geometry.

Although this store is not Berlin-based only, we still felt we had to put it into our favorite list. French cult brand A.P.C. which stands for Atelier De Production Et Creation, has found a perfect petite location on quiet Mulackstrasse 35.

For everyone looking for classical pieces with a perfect fit—the French way—in the heart of Berlin-Mitte.

This spring the No 74 store opened its doors on Torstrasse 74. The concept: An exclusive selection of Y-3 items as well as from the Adidas Originals and Adidas Sport Performance collections. Exceptional articles from other manufacturers are also on sale. The store is not just a point of sale, but also a space for art exhibitions and performances. Not a bad choice to accelerate the realization of Adidas’ goal “to influence a relevant segment of Berlin’s social and cultural life with No 74.”
