Tandur Lasan is a true hole-in-the-wall sort of place. In a space no bigger than 10 square meters, the cooks at Lasan furiously knead, roll, throw, and bake their delicious flatbread in Tandoori ovens, laying them to rest on a large cooling rack.

This tiny shop specializes only in this one product and is well worth stopping at. They will also make you an out-of-the-oven bread with sesame seeds rolled up with slices of fresh sheep’s milk cheese, which proves to be a perfect afternoon pick-me-up. But with their location across from the Maybachufer Turkish market, you may want to pick up their four piece bread bag and then select your favorite spreads from the market for a perfect picnic.

Call us addicts, but Tandur Lasan's bread is like crack: no matter what time of day it is, we have to pick up a fresh piece of bread with sheep's milk cheese, and we always want another. Immediately.
