This massive and packed flea market runs for a near kilometer in a deserted park in Prenzlauerberg, where you can find fancy and “trendy” accessories in high numbers—and even more tourists. Rummage through bare computer parts and Eastern European dishware—full sets, even—to score the occasional must-have item, like a pair of vintage sunglasses for only 10 Euros.

The prices err on the high side, given the park’s popularity with the alternative travelers. Come near closing time to bargain the best deal.

Still (profitable) in Berlin

Shopping at Mauerpark means to bargain for a broken Instamatics with the turkish seller, who is enthroned in his ocean of cardboard boxes. This place is massively crowded, although the finds you can make here are rather rare. So come here for what is thought to be a Berlin experience, enjoy the homemade cake and the soap-bubble artists.
